WHEATON CELLine™ vials are designed to enhance small-scale biological production for antibody and protein production. Conventional in vivo or in vitro cell culture methods can be laborious, have low cell density, and require significant purification. CELLine flasks address these three areas of limitation observed in conventional cell culture flasks.
With the new cell compartment technology;
  • Reduces the need for medium exchange
  • Optimal gas  (Oxygen-Carbondioxide) exchange is ensured
  • Provides preservation of all cell components

1. Warm the medium and prepare the upper membrane by adding a small amount to the medium section

2. Inoculate the cell compartment of the device

3. Fill the medium compartment

4. Incubate for 3-7 days depending on your cell conditions

5. You can change the medium from its own compartment and/or harvest your cells from the cell compartment.

a. The higher the cell density, the more protein products there are. Higher cell densities require more frequent medium changes.

b.Recommended 3.5 and 7-day nutrition programs are available. Programs can be tailored to meet your production and scheduling needs

6. Incubate the vial and repeat the medium change/harvest cycle until the desired amount of protein is produced.
